Enabling Permissions - iOS

Steps for allowing your application to ask for permissions on and iOS device

Safari

Overall Camera and Microphone Access

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Apps"

  3. Select "Safari"

  4. Select Camera under the Settings for Websites section, then select 'Allow'

  5. Select Microphone, then select 'Allow'

  6. Go back to Safari

Site-specific permissions

If you want to allow permissions only for this application:

  1. In top left corner of app in the search bar, select the icon with the two As

  2. Click on Website Settings

  3. Ensure Camera is set to either Ask or Allow

Chrome

Overall Camera and Microphone Access

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Apps"

  3. Select "Google Chrome"

  4. Select Camera under the Settings for Websites section, then select 'Allow'

  5. Select Microphone, then select 'Allow'

  6. Go back to Chrome

Site-specific permissions

If you want to allow permissions only for this application:

  1. Tap the three vertical dots (More) to the right of the address bar.

  2. Select "Settings" from the menu.

  3. Tap "Site settings"

  4. Tap either "Microphone" or "Camera" to manage permissions for each.

  5. You can then toggle the microphone or camera access on or off for specific websites.
