How to schedule a survey: Self-Survey

Steps to schedule a Self-Survey appointment

Yembo's simple process let's you invite your customer to complete a home survey, so our technology can analyze their belongings and help you generate a quote much faster than traditional methods.

There are two ways you can schedule a Self-Survey:

  • Adding a new contact: If a customer move record has not yet been created.

  • Opening an existing move: If a customer move record has already been created.

Option 1: Steps to schedule a Self-Survey by adding a new contact

  1. Click "Add Contact":

2. Update each field on the right side of your screen with the appropriate information.

  • Company: Your company's name

  • Assign to: The name associated with your account

    • You can select another member of your company via the dropdown, if needed.

  • First Name & Last Name: Your customer's name

  • Phone Number & Email: Your customer's contact details

    • Important: Make sure to use a mobile number and active email address since this information is used when sending Yembo links.

  • Move Date: The dates of your customer's move

  • Expected Survey Date & Time: When your customer plans to recored their survey

    • Tip: We recommend asking your customer when they plan to record their survey and adding it here so it's easy to reference in the future.

Tip: While only a first and last name and phone or email are required to send a Yembo link, we recommend that you enter any other valuable information you may have as notes about the contact (i.e. number of bedrooms, square footage... etc.). These notes will be added to the move overview, but will not visible to the customer.

3. ​Review and select "AI Self Survey" from the dropdown:

4. Ensure the appropriate survey invite types are checked based on the contact information entered for your customer:

5. Review and/or update the origin and destination locations.

6. Send your survey invite.

  • Add and Send Invite: click if you are adding a new contact and sending a survey invite

  • Send Invite: click if you have already created the customer move record and are only sending the survey invite at this time

Congratulations! Your customer's Self-Survey link has been sent!

Option 2: Steps to schedule a Self-Survey for an existing move

  1. Open your customer's move record:

2. Go to the "Overview" tab.

3. Click "Create Survey"

4. Select "AI Self-Survey" from the dropdown menu:

5. Select how you'd like to send the survey link from the options available (SMS, Email, Copy URL):

6. Click "Send".

Congratulations! Your customer's Self-Survey link has been sent!
