Splitting Moving Items
If you need to organize your inventory by shipment type or final destination (such as a storage unit or relative’s house), you can do so within the Reviewer. You can watch a quick video for guidance or follow the steps below:
1. Right click on the item's tag and click on "Add Shipment":
2. Click "+ Add Shipment" and type the name of the shipment (e.g., "Air," "Sea," "Storage Unit," "Relative's House"). The shipment type will now appear as a tag:
3. Add shipment tags in the Miscellaneous column of the inventory list. Once a tag has been entered, you won’t need to type it again—just select it from the list.
4. To label multiple items for a split shipment, click the 'Edit Items' button (pencil icon in the top right).
5. Check the boxes next to the items that should be grouped into the same shipment.
6. Click "Mark...", select "Add Shipment," and type the shipment name.
7. Click "Done" once your selections are complete.
When generating a Visual Inventory, each shipment will appear on its own page.
Here's an example of a Sea Shipment inventory:
These separate inventories will also be reflected in different tabs within the cube sheet.
Packing: Splitting boxes of the same type into different shipments
If you need to include the same type of box in different shipments within the same room, follow these steps:
Add the shipment tag to the carton type in the Miscellaneous column on the packing list:
2. Adjust your quantity for that specific carton shipment:
3. Then, add the same carton type to the packing list again:
4. Finally, adjust your quality and shipment tag for the second carton line item:
Congratulations! You now have 2 sets of the same packing material - one for each shipping designation!
You can repeat this process again for additional designations of the same box item within the same room.
