How to enable your camera and microphone

Steps to enable the camera and microphone on an iOS or Android device

iOS Devices

To complete your Yembo survey you will need to make sure you have granted camera and mic access for both the Safari browser and the webpage.

Turning on Camera and Microphone Access in Safari:

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Scroll down to Safari and click on it

  3. Select Camera under the Settings for Websites section, then select 'Allow'

  4. Select Microphone, then select 'Allow'

  5. Go back to Safari

Turning on Camera and Microphone Access For Smart Consult:

  1. Click on the two As within the URL

  2. Click on Website Settings

  3. Click Allow Access to Camera and Microphone

  4. Click Done when finish

Android Devices

Turning on Camera/Mic Access for Chrome or Firefox Browser:

  1. Open up Settings

  2. Scroll down to Apps and click on it

  3. Scroll down and click on Chrome or Firefox (Click on the browser you intend on using)

  4. Click on Permissions under the App settings section

  5. Click on Camera and then select 'Allow'

  6. Click on Microphone, then select 'Allow'

  7. Go back to Chrome

Turning on Camera/Mic Access for SmartConsult website:

  1. Click on the lock icon within the URL

  2. Click on Permissions

  3. Toggle Camera to the "Allowed' position

  4. Toggle Microphone to the "Allowed" position
