Upcoming Changes to Your Smart Consult Experience

We're introducing some updates to the Smart Consult to help make the conversation and confirmation process with your customers a more connected experience. These changes focus on improving how you interact with the call controls and how you can finalize the details of a move with your customer, all within a single call.

Here’s a look at what’s changing.

An Improved Smart Consult Window

We’ve adjusted the Smart Consult call window to make it easier to manage your settings during a call. Based on your feedback, we've moved the most frequently used controls out from behind menus so they are easier to find and use.

  • Updated Control Locations: Key video actions, like muting your microphone or accessing camera effects, have been moved out of the ellipsis menu. You will now find these controls placed in the frame around the video call window for quicker access.

  • Draggable Video: To ensure your view of the customer's home is never blocked, your own video window is now draggable. You can move it anywhere on the screen to give you a better view.

  • Mirrored Video: Your video will now be mirrored, which is a standard feature in most video chat applications that you're likely already used to.

Integrated Inventory Review with Your Customer

To help you and your customer get on the same page, we’ve integrated the Inventory Review directly into the Smart Consult flow. After you have finished the video survey, your customer can remain on the call with you to review the inventory list together.

To share the inventory with your customer click on this button below their video:

The inventory list will appear on their device, and they can confirm that it's correct with a "press and hold" gesture.

Connecting the Dots: From Inventory to Signed Quote in One Call

For those of you who create estimates for COD (Cash on Delivery) moves, this new flow connects all the pieces of the process together. The goal is to allow you to go from the initial video survey to a signed quote on a single call with your customer.

Here is how it works:

  1. After your customer confirms the inventory, you can create the estimate while they remain on the call.

  2. A new "Share Estimate" button allows you to send the completed estimate directly to your customer's screen for them to review while still on the call.

  3. Your customer can view the estimate on their device and, once they are happy with it, use the same simple "press and hold" gesture to accept the quote.

4. After they accept, an email with the final documents for e-signature is automatically sent to them to complete the transaction.

Once Accepted they will immediately proceed to the signature process.

After pressing "Continue to Esign", the customer is brought to a new browser tab where they will complete signing:
