After your survey is complete, your moving company will put together an estimate for your move. There are three ways you might receive it: you may review it in person with your moving company, you may be sent a copy to review on your own, or you may be sent a copy to review and sign electronically. Your moving company will let you know which to expect.
ℹ️ The screens shown here are from a mobile device for illustration, but an estimate can be opened on any desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device — whatever is most convenient.
Reviewing and signing in person
After your survey wraps up and any questions have been answered, your moving company can generate the estimate right then, while you are still together. This lets you review the details and sign on the spot, with someone there to walk through anything that needs explaining. If you have questions about a charge or a line item, this is a good moment to ask.
Reviewing an estimate only
Sometimes an estimate is sent simply for you to look over, with no signature needed yet. In this case, you will receive an email with the estimate and any related documents attached. Open the attachments to review everything at your own pace. If you have questions or want to move forward after reading it, reach out to your moving company directly.
Reviewing and signing an estimate electronically
If your estimate is sent for you to review and sign online, you will be guided through it step by step. Here is what that looks like.
Step 1: Open the invitation
You will receive an email inviting you to view the estimate. Tap the button in the email to get started.
Step 2: Get started from the welcome screen
When the estimate loads, a welcome screen appears. Tap Continue to begin reviewing the estimate and to agree to the terms of use.
Step 3: Review each document
You will review each document one at a time. After reading a document, tap Jump to Signature to move the screen to the fields that need your input — a signature, date, or comment, for example. In this example, tap Click to Sign.
Step 4: Confirm your information
Your name prefills in the customer signature field, so take a moment to check the spelling and correct it if needed. Tap Confirm. Repeat this for each field that needs input, using the Jump To button to move quickly from one field to the next.
Step 5: Complete the estimate
Once all the required fields are done, tap Complete to agree to the estimate.
Your Done!
That's it — your estimate is complete. To keep a copy of the estimate and any additional documents, tap Download.
