When it's time to join your appointment, you'll get a text and/or email with a link to join the session. Below are the steps to join after clicking on the link:
You will be directed to a lobby where you will want to click "I agree" to the terms and conditions.
Next, you can test the status of your network connection, camera permission, microphone permission, and audio. This is to ensure that you will have a smooth Smart Consult experience.
When testing the Network you will be able to see how well your phone is connected to internet, and have the option to test again if low signal. There is still the option to "Continue Anyway" should you have unstable internet.
After you have tested your Network, you can then test the camera permissions. You will be prompted to "Allow" access for your camera.
5. Next, you will do the same with Microphone Permissions.
6. You will be prompted to "Allow" access to your microphone.
7. Once access is allowed, you can talk into your phone to test that your microphone is working. You can select "Looks good" to continue.
8. Lastly, you will check your speakers to ensure you are able to hear the surveyor once you connect to the Smart Consult.
NOTE: If you join with an Android phone running on Google Chrome, there will also be a check for battery life.
9. After you have tested the Network, Microphone, Camera, and Audio, you can select "Join Now" to connect to the Smart Consult!
