What to expect: Self-Survey Experience

You'll get an invite via text or email from your mover.

Click the link provided to open the survey in your device’s browser.

Use a smartphone or tablet to ensure proper video recording.

Click Next to see a brief introduction to the survey process.

When ready, select “I’m Ready” to begin.

Review your contact information and update if needed.

Click Continue once all details are correct.

Set your move date (if known).

Select whether you or the mover will handle the packing.

The Rooms page lists various default rooms.

Scroll through the list and select a room to record.

If needed, add a new room by selecting “Add Room Type”.

Click your first room and allow camera access when prompted.

Grant microphone permission to record audio notes.

Also, allow access to motion settings.

Ensure your room is well-lit.

Stand at the center of the room and slowly pan left to right.

Mention important items or exclusions (things that are not moving).

Your mover will review this footage later.

You can tap to add written notes about specific items.

Repeat the process for each room in your home.

Click Continue once all rooms have been recorded.

If your mover has your address, it will be auto-filled.

If not, manually enter the correct address and click Next.

Enter details about parking, home entry, and navigation.

Specify the number of flights of stairs for both pickup and destination.

Select any special items (e.g., memory foam bed).

Include additional items as necessary.

Check your room summary.

If prompted, answer any extra questions from your mover.

Click Submit to finalize your survey.

Your mover will review your results and follow up on pricing and inventory.
